WANTED - Wire recording sound transfer service

Post by Polyphone »

Hi folks,

Does anyone out there have a working wire recorder/machine and have the capability to make sound transfers?

Please contact me via email or phone.

Thank you, Ken

Would you be looking for a machine to do the transfer yourself? Because I have a machine that a friend gave me with blank wire cartridges just because he found out I was into restoring tube amps and radios. I've never known what to do with it and, while it is heavy, would be happy to send it all to you for only the cost of shipping. Let me know!

Oh, and apparently it does still work. He's a recording engineer and was playing around with it and learning about early recording techniques. I can't imagine recording on a wire...
