There are many, many biographies of Thomas Edison - some of them good; others simply hero-worship. (From Tinfoil to Stereo falls into the latter category.) After Edison's death in 1931, a number of biographies naturally hit the stores, but they first appeared while Edison was still a young man - celebrated as "The Wizard of Menlo Park." One could assemble an interesting collection of Edison biographies and compare them based on time frame and scholarship. The most accurate have been written over the past 45 years.

Love the photo of the "treadle sewing machine" style phonograph!
