Why so much excitement over this cygnet horn? Inexperienced buyers?

A Cygnet horn is desirable and late in the horn era but that one looks pretty ratty to me. The seller says the metal is very straight. Maybe a couple of bidders think it would be a good horn to have Greg Cline repaint in a wood grain theme.

The last black No.10 cygnet I sold on eBay was clean and straight and brought over $500. That was in 2008.
