It is ungraded and there is a "no return" policy. But after all it is from one of the World's Greatest Collectors, and it is Museum Quality. This is a wonderful rare label, does anyone have an opinion on the asking price ?? Just wondering.

Re: A very Rare and expensive Phongraph Record
One would think that "one of the world's greatest collectors" with 25 years worth of experience could ascribe an accurate year to an American Talking Machine record, and to an Improved Gramophone record.
As for the prices, I guess he has a right to ask whatever he thinks they're worth...
But he gets an "A" for hyperbole!

Gee, this one is really cheap:

EDIT:
Here's an even better one, at a price of $21000000 the seller insists on charging $10 instead of $4 for shipping.

Seems both those fellers had a sticky "0" key when typing..................WDC wrote:Gee, this one is really cheap:

You must admit the $150,000 20" Pathé and the Sob Story that goes with it, does provide some much needed "comic relief" !! This guy should be on Last Comic Standing !! He just has to put written silliness into a standup routine.

Wouldn't you think that for &21,000,000 he'd at least offer free shipping?
If the first one sells, maybe he can get some spelling lessons....

Now that eBay does not base fees on the asking price any more we are likely to see all sorts of silliness.
