RCA Victor 7" 78s?
I pulled out one of my RCA Victor albums today and noticed on the back, it talks about the sale of 7" records. To clear up any confusion, it couldn't be the scroll label Children's records made in 7" varients, since this album uses the label design produced after the scroll label. I've never heard of any records like this, can anyone provide information?

I've only ever seem 1 or 2 RCA 78s that were 7". I'm pretty sure they were children's records. They are not common at all.

Here's one from my collection. These are previously issued matrices.
It's vinyl and microgroove, just as are the 78s issued today.

It has a date for the Columbo recording that is from the original matrix. https://adp.library.ucsb.edu/index.php/ ... ll_it_love
The matrix of this record is from 1953, and it probably is a dubbing from the original.

Yes, I stand corrected. I remembered that these were previously issued takes but hadn't made any written notes about them.
In any event, it's a 1950s 7" Victor 78, green label and not included among the records in that ad.
