Stuck Cylinder

Post by paradroid1793 »

Hi everyone. I have a cylinder (specifically an Edison blank)- that will not come out of its case, it moves a bit but doesn’t come out. Does anyone know what could be causing this and how I can get it out?

The cylinder is moldy and the fabric lining the carton is stuck to the mold. I'm afraid that once you remove it, you'll find that it's not much good anyway.

Yeah, I was hoping to get it out to shave it down for another recording.
