About two years ago, I picked up three Diamond Discs at the local Salvation Army thrift shop. I think they were 50 cents each, so they weren't the worst deal.
The disc in the best condition was this one. FVE is accompanied by an uncredited pianist (Ernest Stevens?). Both transfers made at 80 rpm.
Thanks for these! Fred Van Eps, along with Vess Ossman, always brighten my day. Good finds; thats what I love about the thrift stores (the ones that don't chuck their 78s)
Thank you posting these, it is indeed interesting to hear a 1920's style song played by one of Edison's old-time artists just as they had played it 10-20 years earlier.
