On this day in 1925 - Ben Bernie's Hotel Roosevelt Orchestra - Sweet Georgia Brown
Exactly 100 years ago to the date, Ben Bernie's Hotel Roosevelt Orchestra entered the New York Vocalion recordings studios to record a piece partially composed by Bernie, "Sweet Georgia Brown". It has since proven to be his most endurant composition. Here is my copy -- enjoy! https://youtu.be/EbWEgDUy2O4?si=5LrXfkY7kdS68JIP
