Mouthpiece for Kreusi Tinfoil Phonograph
Does anyone know where to source the "missing" mouthpiece from the Kreusi Prototype Phonograph. On Dec 7, 1877 Thos. Edison went to the offices of Scientific American and demonstrated his newly minted machine. Sketches from the meeting (as well as the patent diagram) showed the extended mouthpiece mounted upon the recording phonet. This piece was lost during subsequent years and was never recovered. 10 to 15 years ago the missing mouthpiece was recreated. I know of a fellow in the Netherlands, but have also heard of a man in Alabama that had made them. I have an Elmer Jones replica Kreusi machine and would love to obtain one of the mouthpieces to add to the machine. Below is a public domain photo of the Anton Stoelwinder mouthpiece attachment on the Kreusi machine. Does anyone Know where I can get one of these???? Thank you! James Manker [email protected]

The only ones I am aware of were made by Anton Stoelwinder.
He recently did a major move which interrupted his work schedule, then fell ill. It may be some months before he is back to work.
