For Sale: 1899 Banner Home Model A

Post by Garjen127 »

I'm selling my Incomplete 1899 Home Banner model A. It runs but the governor is broken so it just speeds up until I have to manually stop it. The Decal is very worn and missing the red lettering. It doesn't have a horn but it has an original slotted crank. I'm open to offers above $150. Would possibly consider trades. Free Pickup in Aliso Viejo California.

Most members of this forum will already know this, but there were/are "Model A" Edison Gems, Standards, Homes, Triumphs, Firesides, and Amberolas. Your machine is a Model A Home.

Wish I wasn't in Michigan. :(
Be sure to look up Samuel Murchison Seka on the interwebs for some music and phonograph reading material.

After some thinking, I've decided to repair this phonograph, does anyone know where I can get a replacement governor?
