Wanted: Lower Grade 78s for a Newer Collector

Post by Johnny Town Mouse »

Greetings! After a bit of a hiatus from collecting I’m finally dipping my toes back into the world of 78s.

If anyone has any lower grade copies (I’m not a high-end collector) of anything in the following genres below feel free to let me know. I realize these are some pretty broad categories but 78s have become much harder to find where I live and I’m slowly building up a collection so I’m still learning which specific artists I enjoy. Perhaps some of you have some good discs/artists in the following genres for sale that you'd like to go to a good home? :)

• Doo-wop (50s)
• Early big band (30s)
• Early country/hillbilly (20s to 50s)
• Early jazz (late 1910s to 30s)
• Gospel and southern gospel (20s to 50s)
