VV 8-9 Albums

Post by KCW »

Ike if my favorite machines is my VV 8-9. Underneath the speak are some slots for what I presume are album, one large one for 12 inch albums and four for 19 inch albums. I’d love to find albums so I could properly store my records in albums in the console. I managed to find a good album for 12 inch albums but can’t find any for 10 inch albums. There are a few for sale on eBay but they coke with records, which I don’t want (have too many!).

Does anyone have any resources for where I could find four Victor albums for 10 inch records? I posted on Yankees trader but no luck. I’d by repro too if I could and if they would fit in my VV 8-9. Thank you!!!!

Thank you! Hopefully they fit. I couldn’t believe how cheap they were. Sadly no photos posted on their site. Fingers crossed!

I'm sure Kurt would send you pictures, or at least dimensions. Did you ask him?

I tried to buy some record albums from Nauck's last year, and they responded with a very kind and regretful message that they didn't have any in stock. That may have changed since then.

That’s a ‘horn’ that the record storage is below, not a “speak(er)”.
The correct albums for this Orthophonic Victrola would have smooth, semi-glossy brown covers., not fabric.

Any resources for where I might get any? Would love to complete my VV 8-9. Currently just keep records in sleeves in these spots, no exactly the best.

Nauck’s cancelled my order. I guess they are out stock. I did manage to get three 10” Victor albums. They might not be the correct ones for VV 8-9, but they fit and are in good shape.

I still need just one more. Anyone out there have one more to sell? I don’t care what letter it is. I don’t need it to be in perfect shape either. Thank you!
