Help Needed: Identifying Brown Wax Cylinder

Hey TMF. I'm trying to figure out what this Cylinder is. The announcement is SO quiet that it is almost silent. Couldn't figure it out at all.

The latter ⅔ of the song is pretty loud and decently clear, however the Google Music Identifier could not figure out what it was.

If anyone has suggestions or thoughts, please reply. :)

The cylinder is being played much too fast. Try around 100 rpm and record it, or better yet, digitally reduce the speed of your present video (to save additional wear on the cylinder). When the announcement sounds human, it may become decipherable.

Good luck - -

I think the main portion of the song is "The Heart Bowed Down" from "The Bohemian Girl".

Here's a version recorded for Victor -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMQ2ZYGyGPM

The recording is a medley of songs from the mid 19th opera " The Bohemian Girl" by Irish Composer Michael William Balfe.

I recognized the most famous aria "The heart Bowed Down". Here is a version by Clarence Whitehill.

Laurel and Hardy made a film version in 1935.
