I have never seen one of these boxes before and I am suspect that it might be a Clarence Ferguson label.

No, that's genuine Edison box, and one that's fairly hard to find. It's an outer box for the wax Concert series, the ones that came in the maroon/crimson boxes. Most of the time, these outer boxes got tossed. I have yet to see one with its original lid.
