I messaged the seller as soon as I saw this, shortly before you made your posting. Haven't heard back, so I'm assuming it got snatched up.

I wonder if any member of the Forum managed to snag this machine. I messaged the seller with an offer soon after the ad appeared, with every expectation that someone else had beat me to it. If I'm to believe Facebook Messenger, the seller never even saw or opened my message. Yet the ad remains live.
This characterizes about half of my Facebook Marketplace experiences. No response to my offer, but the ad remains. I suspect many sellers don't remove ads after they make a sale. It often feels like shouting into a void.

Right, but with all of this being the case, if you were to ask if it's still available, you'd get clobbered.Morell1 wrote: Thu May 29, 2025 6:28 am I wonder if any member of the Forum managed to snag this machine. I agree. Facebook Marketplace is an odd culture. Lots of expectations for decorum among buyers. Low expectations for sellers.JerryVan wrote: Thu May 29, 2025 11:09 am Right, but with all of this being the case, if you were to ask if it's still available, you'd get clobbered.
