VTLA on Ebay

Post by Phono-Phan »

Does anyone recognize what the accessory is on the lower shelf in this VTLA? I believe the box for it is on the right. I can't make it out. Nice price on an oak VTLA. eBay item number: 405904331722

I believe it's a needle cutter.

I just checked ebay and it's not been bid on yet. I'm kinda shocked, it's a VTLA

I am seeing that the original dark oak was stripped - does this detract from its value?

Looks beautiful, only needing a bit of work.

Absolutely yes, it does. AND from its desirability.

Yet, even with the difference in appearance between the area under the lid and the outside I for one would snap it up were it anywhere near New England!
