I did not ask for his name, maybe he told me his name, but I don't remember. I am not good at remembering names. He lives in 671 SW Washington St. Dallas, OR.gramophone-georg wrote: Fri Jun 13, 2025 2:45 pm That looks suspiciously like my old 810 that I regretfully sold to a friend of mine in Eugene just before the pandemic. I seem to have lost contact with him. Was the seller's name Bob by chance?

Oh, by the way, he also mentioned that his daughter bought it at an antique store.gramophone-georg wrote: Fri Jun 13, 2025 2:45 pm That looks suspiciously like my old 810 that I regretfully sold to a friend of mine in Eugene just before the pandemic. Would like to have one of these next to my Credenza, I have the Studio Stunts demo record for this model by Jones & Hare. But you know…money and space…

Here are the Youtube Demonstration of my Viva-Tonal Columbia 810.Watanabehi wrote: Thu Jun 12, 2025 1:00 pm Hello Phonograph Fans,
Recently I bought a Viva-Tonal 810 model on Facebook MarketPlace in Dallas, Oregon. It was a very heavy instrument, but I could manage to load it into my 2004 Subaru Forester. I cleaned the front horn and the back, and sealed the horns, and the tonearm. I changed the rubber gaskets of the reproducer. The spring motor is smooth. It plays 78rpm very well. I will compare it with my Orthophonic Credenza later.
