I have a number of them, but not too many; for most, I've never seen the point in paying the kind of premium prices they command for what are, after all, second-generation acoustic dubs from diamond discs that can be had much more economically (as a rule!). I've made exceptions to this "only if they drop in my lap" rule for the first five, all by Alessandro Bonci, which were originally recorded as cylinders, and no. 29058, a Schubert Valse Sentimentale arr. Franko, played by Albert Spalding, which is a dub but was never issued in its diamond disc form. I wanted and have all of those, although I'd like to replace 29002, Una Furtiva Lagrima (Bonci), as my copy is not particularly good.

All that said, I'll freely confess they *do* look very pretty on a mandrel!

I just wanted to note that the box at the far left with the Edison signature is not a Royal Purple box. It's from the Concert series of wax Amberols and is a fairly uncommon box.

I'm aware, thanks. That's the box it was shipped with when I bought it. That one is Mario Laurenti - A Tanto Amore
It's in pristine condition, so I keep it in that box
