Edison Diamond Disc Adapter For Phonograph Dancing Toys

Post by Yamaphone »

I just wanted to mention that I have made a few more adapters to allow the use of the dancing toys such as Ragtime Rastus etc. on Edison Diamond Disc Phonographs. I sold a few last fall and so far, people seem to like them. I have them listed on eBay currently but if anyone doesn't have access to eBay or would rather not use eBay, I am glad to accommodate them if they contact me by PM or email. I actually prefer eBay since they take care of postage, labels etc. The price etc. would be the same either way.
I still have not found or seen any original DD adapters but they certainly made and sold these and I think mine must be close to what was originally supplied.

I just ordered one to use at the Thomas Edison Depot Museum here in Port Huron, MI. I'm looking forward to demonstrating it to visitors.
