Are these parts in the first picture all that is needed to play the 2-4 minute cylinders?

Yes, unless I'm missing something, that's what you need for a Home or Triumph. There should be a little "L" shaped piece of spring steel that makes a connection between the right end of the feed screw and the short piece that is screwed to the inner shaft of the mandrel. The belt pulley has a set screw and a long pin that makes contact with the inner mandrel shaft.

The Edison company was really great about providing combination kits for converting two minute machines. The kits were provided at the same time the four minute records were introduced. The difficulty for modern collectors comes with the slight variations between the different models. A slight variation in length of a particular part can make it difficult or impossible to use even though it looks like it should work.

I have a fairly good selection of Home and Triumph combination parts. I'll bring them to Union and perhaps an "expert" can help me sort them out.
