Be sure to look up Samuel Murchison Seka on the interwebs for some music and phonograph reading material.

Yes, there was a raffle game with the cylinder number as well. All BA cylinders!

It was an absolutely grand time by all who attended. Where else can you be with like minded friends and surrounded by hundreds of phonographs, thousands of records all at once. The educational classes on Nipper, Brown Wax Cylinders, Phonograph cabinet restoration and record cleaning were very informative and great to attend. Your membership in the APS makes this happen. This was my first Expo to attend as I had to drive from Texas to Chicagoland. Yes, my wallet became empty as my auto got full. I obtained parts I could not get elsewhere by super knowledgeable collectors who were more that ready to help and teach. I bought a broken Columbia Eagle for 175 at the silent auction but am still glad to get it. Best of all I brought my wife and she enjoyed the expo and now claims 2 small phonographs (the Eagle B and a Columbia BVT) as her own. Great to get her on board. She thinks that they are cute!!! Another Expo is this fall in California.....seriously if you are any type of collector from beginner to advanced, you will seriously gain great information, parts unobtainable elsewhere and wonderful time making new friends all as crazy as the rest of us!!!!!
