I'm not sure what this part is called, so I removed the brake which holds the motor from moving so I can manually wind the machine until I get the brake part. It goes into a hole by the crank hole.
Here I have circled the part I am talking about in the referenced hole.

Be sure to look up Samuel Murchison Seka on the interwebs for some music and phonograph reading material.

Did you get a horn for this? There was one at the Expo.

Yes I did. Right now though, without the speed pull I'm operating it like an early berliner with no speed control.

I'm using a Victor Exhibition Reproducer mounted to an adapter that fits the Victor JR's horn.

I’m pretty sure you could get the speed control/brake rod made. I’m away from home right now so can’t measure mine. It’s the same as on a P2 and the first model O. A passible knurled thumb nut for it can be found on amazon or similar once you know the rod diameter/thread size.

Great Job, Jerry! I envy talent like yours. The part looks great-
OP found the right man, with the right tools and the know-how. Another machine can be put back into playing condition!
