Wanted: Early Edison Triumph ID tag
I’m restoring an early Edison Triumph with end gate and the ID tag is missing. I am seeking to buy an early Edison Triumph ID tag for model A or B, in very good condition.

Re: Wanted: Early Edison Triumph ID tag
Cheryl,
What is the serial number stamped on the casting? I can help but A's were different than B's so wanted to take a shot at finding the appropriate style and SN range.
I don't always check posts here so message or email me.
Thanks,
Terry

Re: Wanted: Early Edison Triumph ID tag
Brett,
Technically you have a model "A" and in fact a fairly early one. I'm attaching a photo of a model A tag with more patents listed than a B tag. Note that it does NOT include the model "Triumph" as that was on the front banner and not considered necessary on the tag.
I have loose model B tags as pictured but my only A's are on topworks and I'll have to price accordingly. My OCD side says never put a model B tag on a model A but that's your call I'm afraid!
I'll PM you with prices.
Thanks,
Terry

I agree to not put a B on a A model! If you have one available I’ll take it.. I will also send this message through email.
Brett.
