I came across these 78RPM Japanese albums, but they're not like the usual albums or sleeves that I see. They seem to have "oriental" theming to them. I've seen the one with Mt. Fuji before- but not the "Memories of Japan" one. That phrasing doesn't make it seem like they were sold to the Japanese public. Who were these sold to then, and why?
Also, they both have Geishas (female entertainers).

I have been led to believe that these types of albums were brought to the USA by servicemen who served in the Korean War.
