New Find: Columbia BD Disc machine
I found a machine last week. Yesterday I did a road trip to pick it up. A Columbia model BD. Which used the same large case and huge 4 spring motor as the Columbia AR. One was front mount the other a rear mount horn. This has a mahogany wood horn, mahogany disc music cabinet, about 80 earlier one sided Columbia records. After 8 hours on the road I placed it on the dining room table and called it a day. It works well, but probably needs some oil here and there. Quick photos from last night.

They are a beast, looks like it was well cared for.
Mine has the 11 panel nickel horn. I also have it's mate the AR with 36" aluminum horn, can't even display that one with the horn.
