Suggestions for Packing Machinese & Records

Post by chuckmoy »

Hello Forum. I have just recieved news from my parents that as part of my father's new job we will be moving to San Francisco, California.

This is great, I won't have to take the horrendous Gaokao exam lol: , and I may find more Chinese records, as it is San Francisco.

However, what suggestions would members here have for packing records? I only have a few, but I don't want them to be bent or damaged during shipment/transport.

Thank you.
Chuck.

Depending on how many you are referring to - Stack them flat in groups of 10 or 15 on an 11" square of cardboard, then place another square on top. Wrap the bundle tightly with self cling packing wrap or kitchen wrap, then tape with packing tape. Place the bundle in a trash bag, wrap it tightly and tape it securely with packing tape. Make sure the records are tight and can't slide inside the bundle and they should travel well. Stack them on edge and don't place heavy things on top of them. Good luck with your move.
