Post by Pete Stratford »

Hello
Can someone please tell me what date this Edison Home was manufactured and confirm it is a model B? Thanks.

More photos would help. Since the latest patent date is 1906, it's at least a Model B; but we could use more info to make sure.

George Paul has some manufacturing data, and could possibly determine when it left the factory.

Your Edison Home B left the factory in February 1908. Sorta late for a model B, but I have a even later one that was probably made when the Model D machines were coming out!

As Andy has pointed out, Edison Home #309113 left the factory in February 1908. An illustrated article (including a serial dating chart) on all models of the Edison Home Phonograph (A-F) appeared in the June 2024 issue of the APS magazine.
