Am I the only one having trouble with the site??

Post by kendphono »

I have been having a lot of trouble accessing things on the site. It takes a lot of time for things to open when clicked on and a fair amount of time things don't open at all. Any siggestions are welcome.

TMF has been extremely slow for at least 10 days-- I usually give up trying to access Yankee Trader or info items- I have some things I was planning to post for sale, but I'm holding off until (and if) it gets fixed.

You're not the only one, Ken. I've been opening additional windows while the TMF loads. It often takes several minutes or times out.

If this is the beginning of the end (I certainly hope not), remember there is an alternative:

Quite a few people have reported this problem in TMF Tech Support. It seems to be world wide for forum members.

I believe it's being overrun by "Bots". Look at the user count, usually over 600, with only a handful of registered users.

I'm not so sure. It's running incredibly slow for me right now but only a couple of bots are showing up.

It took several minutes to post the above message. The first time I got an error message saying it timed out. I tried again but it took 2-3 minutes to finally appear.

But these bots cope the site capacity? They are here because their memberships have been approved... supposedly, isn't it?
That's why forum sites have checks to confirm you're human, but these bots are capable of sorting out these humanity tests.. ?
