Siegel-Myers Correspondence School of Music Fireside

Post by Andersun »

Thought I would share this Edison Fireside which was made for the Siegel-Myers Correspondence School of Music. I never seen a Fireside used for a correspondence school and never heard of the Siegel-Myers Correspondence School of Music.

Now you need to find a record and box to display with your Fireside! https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/ ... -417277458

I've never seen a tag like this on a Fireside either.

Interesting find,
Bob

Don Maxwell wrote an excellent article about the Siegel-Myers voice training program in the September 2018 issue of The Antique Phonograph. It was a correspondence course to learn how to sing, with the student recording his efforts and sending them back for grading.
