It seems the photo/movie didn't attach, may you try again?

Chris, the record label says "Tokyo Boogie Woogie". Would that not be the title?

Or were you looking for a translation of all of the text on the label?

Or am I confused (again)? :?

I found the record here: https://www.45worlds.com/78rpm/record/a339jp

Here is the Japanese text with translation to the best of my ability:

流行歌 = popular song
Tokyo [first 2 characters] Boogie Woogie [last four; these are phoneticized English]
Suzuki Masaru (lyrics/songwriter); doesn’t appear to have a Wikipedia page; first 3 characters are his name (a dot separates his credit and the composer)
Ryōichi Hattori (composer); first 4 characters are his name
Shizuko Kasagi (the singer)
Columbia Orchestra [more phoneticized English]

Hope this helps.

For some reason the photo didn't attach for me.

I can confirm, though David is correct.

The google translate does not reverse Japanese text which is why the names are last name, first name.

The Tokyo Boogie Woogie is super popular and it was re-released and was one of the first Asian hits in the US. Also a remix came out from Columbia in 2024 which you can find here!

I even have a copy of this one! Seems like this one and "Shina no Yoru (China Night)" by Watanabe Hamako made their rounds all over.

Yes China Night was very popular even though it's not nearly as good as Tokyo Boogie Woogie. :lol: :mrgreen:
