I've found it to be slow myself.Facebook is faster.edisonplayer.

Hopefully this won’t jinx the forum. But this afternoon it seems to be back to normal. For me at least.

I've noticed some definite improvement in the response time on the Forum here this afternoon. I'm reasonably confident that David has come through once again for us. Thank you, David, for all of your efforts.

Facebook is paying millions of dollars for their server farm. Even with occasional donations from members, I operate this site as a net loss.
Comparing the performance for this site to Facebook is unrealistic.

The DONATE button has disappeared since a long time... How can we collaborate? I wanted to pay an annual fee, as in other 78 rpm clubs, but there is no button now...

Today the site, for me at least, is every bit as fast as Facebook.
