was this song ever recorded?

i recieved a piece of sheet music probably about a week ago of the song "in the evening when the twilight falls or before they went to war". The publishing company is pretty obscure, and info on the writer Rodney Powers has some other works but there is little info on him too. theres no recordings of this song on i78s, youtube, or the UCSB cylinder archive. Theres a chance it wasnt ever recorded but it could also have not been digitized.
