Columbia 6 Inch Cylinder Question
I just purchased a 3-minute Columbia 6-inch cylinder. I didn't have one, and there was an eBay listing for one for $19. What machine would this work on? I really bought it for display, was it only Columbia machines?

Re: Columbia 6 Inch Cylinder Question
The Columbia "Twentieth Century" records can be played only on the BC, BM, BF, BG, BO, and the earlier Type C Graphophone. Edison never marketed an entertainment Phonograph with a 6-inch mandrel.
An illustrated article covering all the B-series Graphophones appeared in the December 2022 issue of the APS magazine.

I don't believe it will work on a BE.

You're absolutely right, Jerry! Senior moment, I guess...!
Thanks for the correction - I'll fix my earlier post.
