Welcome. You already have two granddaughters in the forum!
I've been watching the website of your Japanese association, and it is very interesting. I googled shonan sp records association and it came out with this:
https://shonangramophone.com/
BTW. In Tokyo, Ginza, there is also a marvelous gramophone and shellac record shop/museum called Shellman Co. which is very interesting.

Mrs. Nakamura. The Shellman Artwork is one of the most amazing 78 and phonographs stores there is. I do not think anything comes close. A beautiful 4 floor + lower 1920's western building, upkept and clean. Beautifully restored machines for sale and the basement floor is made of a polished pine wood with everything organized perfectly in custom built shelves.

Photo of the basement from their site.

I have only been to Tokyo once- but I cannot wait to return, now that I know a lot more about phonographs. ;)

I play all kinds of shellac 78s on my VV-IV Victrola, from period correct (1911) to Les Paul records from the 50s. Some members frown on this, but there is no law against it.
