It's a wonderful song, and features nicely in the early 1990s Ken Burns documentary "Empire of the Air," about the early days of radio. I wouldn't say it's rare or expensive, though the only recording of it that I know of is on an Edison Diamond Disc. I play mine all the time.

So funny you mentioned that! I’ve heard that song before but I was watching Empire of the Air last night and heard enough of it that I could giggle the lyrics. It’s such a brilliant composition! Dying to find a copy now. Nothing on eBay! I put up a wanted ad here. Any other places to check?
