Wanted: Horn crane [REVISED]

Post by JohnM »

Does anyone have a horn crane to fit this single-piece bracket on a suitcase Home. The holes in the bracket accept a ⅜” mast rod.
Thanks!

Hi John , I have this setup that is not being used, the horn is 18” long with a 7 ⅜” bell , the horn has some dents and a gouge please see pictures, the crane would cleanup with some evaporust or similar product. $150 plus $15 shipping if you are interested, the mast is ½” in diameter, Larry

Hi, Larry!
That’s a great looking rig, but the brackets on my example are ⅜” diameter. Is the mast on your crane hollow ⅜” ID by any chance?

This is the one-piece back bracket with ⅜” holes for the mast rod.

Hi John, Mine won't work with your existing bracket, Thanks Larry

I was thinking that perhaps I could turn the mast down to ⅜”, or drill a ⅜” hole in it, but I hate to modify anything like that. I reckon I’ll continue to look. For all that I know, that may not even be the correct crane that I’m looking for. Thank you for sharing what you have with me though. I have managed to find just the horn for it in nice condition.
