UPDATE

A guy just took 20 crates away and it was all in my C PILE.

So now there are now only 20 crates or ~1800 records with some really good stuff. The records for sale here are all in my B Pile. The A Pile material will be sold starting in the fall via private sale and eBay.

FYI: With this type of volume, this is how I subjectively sort it out:

A PILE - really desirable records, mostly in exceptional condition
B PILE - good amount of desirable records in average condition and still enjoyable to listen to
C PILE - good or unpopular music yet with limited desirability and/or very poor condition

I live in Beverly Hills, Michigan just 5 miles north of Detroit. The records are accessible in my garage, easy back-in loading, no steps. If you are interested, please reach out to me via phone or email.....no PM please.

Hi Folks,

I picked up a large 78 RPM record collection the other day. The records I wanted were <5% of the total buy but I had to take them all to get just a few records. There are approximately 40 crates of 75 records, roughly 3000. And besides that 5%, the collection has not been picked over. The collection has about every style of music from every time-period you can imagine, yet no super early stuff, i.e. pre-1910. The records are mostly in average condition and there is some great stuff.

Obviously, pick up only.......asking $2000, must take all.

UPDATE - Pile A & B SOLD

A PILE - really desirable post-war records, mostly in exceptional condition, no junk. Doo-Wop, Rock-A-Billy, Rock & Roll, R&B, Soul, Blues, Country and more. No big-band, no pop, and no junk; i.e. no red Columbia’s, no Bing Crosby, no Spike Jones, no polka, no Dinah Shore, no pipe organ solo’s, no album sets, etc. Many original SUN records and original Elvis RCA's (and one Elvis Sun) Many John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Jerry Reed, Little Richard, etc.

You can view the collection by appointment. I am located in metro Detroit.
