I'm sure there were more than a handful of us watching this auction yesterday? I ended up taking a screenshot as I was flabbergasted at how the whole thing unfolded...

That’s $100 per record. While I didn’t realize 7” zonophone records were quite that valuable it might not be as crazy as it seems, especially if the condition is excellent or has rare titles. Throw in a few Berliners and I can see a collector with deep pockets paying that much. It looks like the bidders were on site, so they probably had a reason to go so high. I wonder if they were found alongside the ERJ Victor A in the previous lot?

I am not surprised. This was a very nice-looking collection, which I presume went with the Victor that was in a separate lot.
