HMV 202 replica re-entrant horn

I have a 203 that made it to the United States and right now it has an ugly replacement yellow cloth.
If you figure out a good replacement I would be interested.

The orthophonic cloth needs to be remade again.

The horn was fabricated from the same gauge tinplate as the original. It is also going to be painted same shade of brown. My friend had to fabricate templates, and specific tools to be able to re-create all the details just like on the original one. After several weeks of work he just gave up counting the hours and promised himself that this was the first and last re-entrant horn he was ever going to make.

I have always understood the r-entrant horns were made of terne plate not tinplate terne plate is a lead tin alloy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terne presumably used to enhance the sound quality as it would add weight to the metal and perhaps eliminate vibrations on a lighter metal type ? So a sound comparison between the two horns would be interesting . In the 1980s I sold several empty cabinets to a guy in the south of England who was going to rebuild the the horns from steel and use a lead tin alloy to coat them with , I don't know whether he ever succeeded

A collector in Southend had exact material remade in the 1980s I'll try and find out if any is left , long shot though
