Need Help Identifying Model #

Post by Purplepacman »

I’d appreciate some help identifying the model # of this Edison Standard Phonograph. The serial # is S-28251-0. Thanks for any/all help here!

You have a Standard B, it plays 2m cylinders. ;)

This is very helpful ...

Or, more properly, it will once you put a drive belt on it. Until you do, the motor won't turn the cylinder. You can find instructions for doing that from the YouTube videos of Dyslexic Genius Hurt (Brett Hurt) among others. https://www.youtube.com/@1974hurt/featured

Thank you. Exactly what I needed. I was aware that it needed a belt. The good news is that the mechanism is functioning properly!
