WANTED: a certain part you can find on any Edison Diamon Disc phonograph

Post by Zenger »

Greetings. I need one of those wooden knobs that encases the metal rod that you would use to pivot, reposition, lower and raise the reproducer on any Edison Diamond Disc phonograph. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of one just now, but if someone would be kind enough to send me a picture, I will add it here. If you have one of these wooden knobs to sell, please let me know. Thanks!

This may be moot, given the foregoing, but just in case: The knobs seem to have varied a bit in finish and shape over time. Here are photos of my three:

Thank you very much for posting those! As it happens, my machine is a Schubert, so that's the one I need...

Can you post a picture of the Schubert without the handle. Your picture shows an odd screw to hold it on. The wood handle looks like the one on the C-250 but with a different screw to hold it on?

The wood knob on my Edisonic Beethoven is the same as the Schubert knob pictured, but the attaching screw is no different than any other Edison DD machine.
