This first cylinder I just received in a box or records. I already have a copy so this one is available. I sell this with great hesitation and will be just as happy keeping a duplicate. It is that good.
One of the quintessential vintage Christmas records – Christ Was Born on Christmas Morn by the Cotton Top Mountain Singers. This cylinder was professionally copied from one of less than a hand-full of original copies of this super rare Brunswick Race Series record.
The record itself is a joy to listen to. A jazzy, bluesy Christmas tune. Honest singing and fun lyrics, this is the one you would play for all your friends at Christmas time when you demonstrate your phonograph. The record can be played on any 4-minute phonograph.
The second cylinder is a Sept 1899 US Bettini recording done by M. Pardis (Clarinetist) - Concertina - Piano and Clarinet. US Bettini recordings are impossible to find. Here is a super loud, clear, and really wonderful one. This was made in resin, in a plain brown wax format. It is announced by Bettini in French (they weren't ever announced as a Bettini). The record can be played on any 2-minute phonograph.
The Final cylinder is an original Indestructible cylinder of Oh Come All Ye Faithful – 1224. It has a shiny surface and plays very well. The inside cardboard is flaking, but it fits well on a mandrel. An outstanding playing copy. The record can be played on any 2-minute phonograph.
