Wanted: EUREKA Mahogany Horn and Info on Same

Post by fourbaers »

I was sleeping and missed this horn at the last Stanton Auction and would like to find one. Not sure if the buyer is willing to give it up or if another TMF member has a loose one but let me know.

I'm also interested in finding out more about these horns so if you've seen original ads regarding their availability please post or let me know.

Many thanks,

Terry,

This page from Antique Phonograph Accessories & Contraptions shows one of these "Truetone" horns, and - as the caption notes - you'll find ads beginning with the November 1907 issue of The Talking Machine World. I don't recall how long those ads ran, but there were quite a few of them.

Best,
George P.
