Here's your picture card with just a quick pass thru clean up software, nothing fancy.

The machine in the lower right corner you can see the insulated power switch clearly, electric versions would make sense. Can you image all these women cranking them up every 15-20 minutes if they weren't? I can't make out the rocker buttons to disengage the mandrel, possibly all were outfitted with the foot operated vacuum switch.

This thread reminded me that I have quite a few of that series of stereo view cards from that series Sears had. I went and pulled them out and by luck I had this one and it looks really great in the proper viewer! The back says there were doing 10,000 letters a day which seems incredible (our course they were sort of the Amazon of 1900 after all).
