Note this is for the eleven-panel horn and 45 degree carriage -- Model C or H reproducers. If you try to use with a horizontal carriage the horn comes into slight contact with the crane. This is the "older generation" repro crane, nickel plated, which looks very good. The height adjusting nut is original -- I am pretty sure -- given that it needs some polishing. Now shown in photos is the long flat screw (with ball) that attaches the spring to the top of the crane. Someone has bent it into a C shape in a partially successful attempt to make the crane work with the wrong carriage. Not sure if the flat screw is original or not: looks like nickel-plated brass to me.
