Seeing the appreciation on Japanese pops, I figured that maybe Shidaiqu, a genre of Chinese-jazz and Western fusion-pop. This is a Chinese arrangement of a Louis Jordan tune, it was also used in 'Crazy Rich Asian's, an American film.

It was recorded in Hong Kong, where after communist takeover, was the only place in Mainland China Shidaiqu had not been banned...
