Oh my gosh! Neither do I! Thanks for the reminder. I spent so many years looking for an original CJ that, even when I found one, I can’t give up the search.

I would definitely buy one if I had the opportunity but I don't want to buy an incomplete one that I won't have the necessary skills / knowledge / tools to repair or complete properly. I could also use the wooden travelling arm from this lot but the price has already sailed past by limit. There are many complete original machines out there which are of much more interest to me. I prefer the more useable gramophones anyway; a Berliner is really just an expensive door stop!
