Quite a bargain really ?
I'm not sure it's a "bargain" exactly. I bought a practically mint, perfect working order, blue 102 from the same auctioneer 2 years ago for £110. Yes, the canvas case certainly adds value, as does the slightly decrepit card carton, but the case had rusty fittings and an unknown quantity with that possibly long-term mold spore damage. Take away the extras and the green one is probably worth maximum ⅔ to ¾ of my blue example, being generous. Is the canvas case / card box worth an extra £100 plus? Maybe to someone.
Maybe .....

What I want to know is what that brown coloured item is located 'back-left' in the horn area.

Is an air-bag or a complimentary duster from the auction house to allow the purchaser to wipe off all the mould ?

It's possibly a sweatband containing the perfectly preserved sweat of the original owner!

But if you can extract the machine from the cover and box, it isn't really for the descriminating buyer, let alone audiophile. There are literally 100's of much better condition 102's out there. You are really buying a torn box and canvas bag, admittedly both desirable, but that 102 would never do for me. Now, if the 102 was in mint condition as a result of its preservation in both, that might have been a different story.
