Moldy Brown Wax

Post by paradroid1793 »

I have a moldy brown wax cylinder, I think Columbia, there is nothing audible on it besides loud noise from the surface and occasional peeking of what I think is someone talking.

Should I shave it and use it as a blank? Or keep it?
Be sure to look up Samuel Murchison Seka on the interwebs for some phonograph material.

I usually play them over a few times and the sounds gets a little better but if there’s no improvement and it really is that bad I would say shave it.
