WANTED TO BUY: Columbia AG Grand

Post by Hailey »

I am looking for a good Columbia AG Concert machine. Mechanically must be sound with no pot metal issues.
Thanks in advance.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but "Concert" denotes the Edison 5-inch machine and records (as well as Lambert and Pathé), while "Grand" was Columbia's 5-inch nomenclature. Good luck in your search.

A 2-part article on all the Columbia Grand Graphophones appeared in the September 2025 and March 2026 issues of the APS magazine.

Duly noted. I appreciate your feedback. I recklessly interchange the terms incorrectly from time to time.
Thanks so much!
